Hardly A Poem
But I love comics for their timing...
It’s a summer day, you’re lying in bed
Your mother walks in, you’re jerking off
With a magazine, and just as you come
She says something so perfect, so off-hand
What are you doing to that magazine?
Respect. Poets spend years working on
Their material before they can do that.
